The Challenge
The homeowners had a dated 1990s tub-shower combo with cracked grout, stained tile, and a shower curtain that made the small bathroom feel even smaller. Water had seeped behind the tile causing hidden mold behind the walls.

- Removed existing tub and surround
- Repaired water-damaged wall framing and subfloor
- Installed Schluter KERDI waterproofing membrane
- Built custom shower pan with linear drain
- Installed large format white subway tile on walls
- Set dark gray hexagonal mosaic tile on shower floor
- Installed frameless glass door and panel
- Mounted chrome rain showerhead and hand shower
- Built recessed tile niche for storage

The Result
